Godox VL150 LED Video Light overview

It is a compact monolite LED light that is designed for use during on video applications, still life photography, portraiture as well as location photography. The light is a daylight-balanced COB LED with a CRI rating of 96 and TLCI rating of 95 which in turn translates into highly accurate color renditions. The light is operated and powered from an external controller. It features a whisper-quiet fan and an integrated Bowens-style reflector mount, making it compatible with a wide array of light modifiers.

The VL150 controller box has a V-mount battery plate (V-mount battery not included) and an LCD display with intuitive controls and command dial for making adjustments to the light body manually. You can adjust the light’s settings wirelessly via a Bluetooth-enabled portable device using the Godox Photo app, available as a free download for iOS and Android devices.

Alongside the controller box is a 4-pin XLR type power cable. The controller features an antenna for compatibility with an optional wireless radio remote, and a Bluetooth antenna for using the Godox Photo app on iOS or Android portable devices.
